Dr. Mohamed Amin Mahmoud Uosif is presently working as the Professor of radiation and experimental nuclear physics in the Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Science, physics Department, Assiut. He has persued his PhD from the Al-Azhar University & Hannover Univ. Germany in 2003. He has the Membership of 3 Scientific Societies such as Member of Arab Radiation Protection Association No.(12),2008. He is a Qualified expert in radiation protection by Ministry of Public Health, Egypt No.97, (2007). He has 56 most significant publication.

Research interests: Studying the production of Residual Nuclides by Proton-Induced Reactions, Medium energy nuclear reactions, Nuclear spectroscopy,Nuclear computation and data analysis, Measuring natural radioactivity in different environmental media (soil, rocks, ores, water and air particulates), Radiation shielding
