Expertise: Epigenetic mechanisms underlying gene-environment, cell behavior prediction, Cell signaling

Bio: Xiang Wang graduated from Wuhan University with a Ph.D. in 2014.  Her PhD dissertation was focused on the function of epigenetic regulators in signaling pathways and tumorigenesis. Those results have been published in Journal of Cell Science (2012) and BBA - Molecular Cell Research (2014). Another two manuscripts have been in consideration for publication in peer reviewed journals. After graduation she worked in Wuhan University for one year as a Research Associate, focusing on cell signaling induced remodeling of enhancer landscape and epigenetic markers linked to cell identity. She arrived at the NIH in 2015 and conducted her postdoctoral research on epigenetic regulation in tumor metastasis in Li Yang's lab (NCI) till now.
