Bio: Dr. Pan Chen carried out his Doctoral Research in University of Alabama in the City of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Postdoctoral Research in Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the City of Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Later he started working as an Instructor of Molecular Pharmacology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, USA. His research interests are in understanding the role of dopamine (DA) signaling in susceptibility of DAergic neurons to genetic and environmental risk factors. He have been interested in understanding the mechanisms of neurological diseases, devoting his last 10 years of his research to investigate molecular mechanisms and seek for pharmaceutical compounds for early-onset torsion dystonia (EOTD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Parkinson’s disease (PD).
