Bio: Dr. David Davidson, MD, is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Lipidology, and Nuclear Cardiology. In 2014, he was recruited to NorthShore University Health System to build a preventive cardiology program. Dr. Davidson s expertise includes statin intolerance, cholesterol management, personalized medicine, cardiovascular wellness, weight loss and prevention of heart disease. He is involved in several clinical trials with a focus on cholesterol related medications. Dr. Davidson earned his medical degree from Rush University Medical Center, where he also completed his internship and residency. He served his fellowship in cardiology at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Northwestern University. He is a diplomate of the National Lipid Association and a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Davidson is a frequent speaker and is available to speak on the following topics: The latest advances in cardiovascular risk factors and markers.
